Moulsecoomb Amateur Boxing Club
The Moulsecoomb Amateur Boxing Club has been running since 2004 when the Police approached local boxers Matt and Nick Bell asking them if they could provide something locally. 11 years on the club is packed full across all 6 weekly sessions, all run by volunteers. With support from community workers and the Moulsecoomb Local Action Team they were successful in their application for over £50,000 from The Lottery/Sport England’s ‘Inspired Facilities’ grant to build an extension to the premises.
Moulsecoomb Amateur Boxing Club Sessions:
Friday evening 7 – 9pm
Mon / Wed / Thurs evenings
6.30 – 7.30pm juniors (ages 9 -17)
7.30 – 8.30pm seniors (ages 18+)
Prices are: £1 a session for juniors and £2 a session for seniors
