The Healthy Neighbourhood Fund is Public Health money that has been given to the Moulsecoomb LAT to give out as grants to groups who run healthy activities or something that helps residents mental health and well-being. For more information click:

Healthy Neighbourhood Fund
The Healthy Neighbourhood Fund is NHS money that has been given to the Moulsecoomb LAT to give out as grants to groups who run healthy activities or something that helps residents mental health and well-being.
The Terms and conditions are:
1. Your community group should be based in the Moulsecoomb LAT area – defined as East, North and South Moulsecoomb, Higher Bevendean and Bates Estate.
2. The proposed project/event must be for the benefit of residents living in the defined area although others may also benefit.
3. The minimum amount of grant funding that can be applied for is £25. The maximum amount of grant funding that can be applied for is up to £300. If you have a constitution please send a copy with this application form.
4. Grants are only available to new or existing local groups of more than three people.
5. Grant funding cannot be used for personal, immoral, illegal, religious worship or political purposes.
6. The MLAT is unable to credit personal bank accounts or issue personal cheques.
7. If you do not have a Bank Account yet you may have a ‘host’ bank account with another local group. However that local group must show, in writing, support for your application.
8. Please show overleaf how you are intending to make your group sustainable in the future so you do not rely on grants. For example: Do you charge a small fee for attending? Do resident’s pay for any materials used? Please explain further overleaf.
9. Closing date for applications is 2nd November 2015. Decisions to be made by the end of November 2015.
10. For monitoring purposes you will need to agree to show case your event/activity at the MLAT event so we can see how the money has been spent. The MLAT committee may also visit your group to take photos and talk to residents’ to find out more about your group.
